Type 5132 STEPPING BOARD

Type 5132

Type 5132 STEPPING BOARD

Universal stepping-motor training board for digital technology and power electronics. Angle and speed are captured with a plug-in reflective light barrier. Integrated control logic supports both directions as well as bipolar and unipolar operation.

  • Universal stepping-motor training board
  • Digital angle and speed capture via plug-in reflective light barrier
  • Digital control inputs for both directions of rotation
  • Built-in control logic
  • Bipolar and unipolar operation of the stepping motor
  • Usable in power electronics applications as well

Operation and Principle

The STEPPING BOARD Type 5132 is a universal training system for digital technology and power electronics. The stepping motor can be driven in both directions via digital control inputs, while angle and speed are measured by the plug-in reflective light barrier.

An integrated control logic supports experiments with bipolar and unipolar drive. Via a phase shifter, the board can be connected to the sinusoidally modulated PWM of the POWER BOARD.

  • Also suitable for experiments with sinusoidal motor current
  • Compatible with the POWER BOARD combination for extended drive experiments
