Type 3851
PIC CONTROLLER BOARD Type 3851
The PIC CONTROLLER BOARD Type 3851 is a training system for PIC microcontroller technology with an integrated software and application package. It combines assembler programming, RS-232 or USB connectivity and practical applications such as LCD, motor, display and temperature sensing.
- Universal training system for microcontroller technology
- Various PIC controllers can be used, including 16F84A and 16F876A
- Assembler programming with only 35 instructions
- Communication with a PC via RS-232, optionally via USB
- PIC controllers are plug-in modules on external sockets
- PWM outputs available
PIC Technology and Built-in Applications
The PIC CONTROLLER BOARD introduces the PIC microcontrollers used in industry. Different PIC controllers can be inserted via external sockets.
The board includes an adjustable DC generator, LED display, toggle switches, temperature sensor, LCD display, DC motor, 7-segment display, analogue meter and dot-matrix display.
Software and Operation
The software package uses MPLAB, ProgPIC2 and PICkit2. Programming is performed in Assembler, and PAL exercises are also supported for the 16F84A.
The USB version requires the PICkit2 module. A serial interface cable is included in the delivery scope.
