The Electronic Multimeter Type 1070 is a demonstration measuring instrument for hps training systems. It combines the visible format of a demonstration board with a digital multimeter for voltage, current, resistance and battery tests.

Demonstration instrument for classroom use
The Electronic Multimeter Type 1070 belongs to the hps range of demonstration measuring instruments. These instruments are used to capture measured values in experiments with hps training systems and share the same dimensions as the demonstration boards.
The unit can therefore be used either in a demonstration frame or directly on the table. The large scales and clearly structured front panel make readings easy to see even from greater distances.
Mechanical design and protection
All measuring ranges of the demonstration instruments are protected against overload by internal circuits or fuses. Wiring is made via 4 mm safety sockets integrated into the front panel.
The front panel is made of 5 mm laminated insulating material with a matt blue finish and white print. The rear side is protected by a grey sloped plastic hood.
Type 1070 measuring functions
Type 1070 provides DC and AC voltage measurement, DC and AC current measurement, and resistance measurement in several ranges. It also includes battery testing for 1.5 V and 9 V batteries, a diode tester and a continuity tester with acoustic signal.
This makes the instrument suitable for typical classroom and laboratory tasks in electrical engineering, electronics and analogue measurement practice.
