Type 1012.1
Type 1012.1 E Universal Assembly Board
The Universal Assembly Board Type 1012.1 is a training system for solderless construction of experimental circuits in electrical engineering and electronics. It is designed for use with 4 mm safety leads and combines 4 mm and 2 mm sockets with a rugged mechanical construction. This makes it suitable for fundamental and complex experiments as well as for student exercise, training, and demonstration setups.
- Suitable for 4 mm safety leads
- For fundamental and complex experiments in electrical engineering and electronics
- 4 mm and 2 mm sockets with high contact load capacity
- Rugged mechanical construction
- Suitable for student exercise, training, and demonstration
- Solderless setup with plug-in components
Experimental Setup
In conjunction with the plug-in components from hps SystemTechnik, the Universal Assembly Board is used for solderless construction of experimental circuits across all electrical engineering and electronics subject areas included in the hps program.
The 4 mm sockets are arranged on a 19 mm grid and are each surrounded by four additional 2 mm sockets in a coordinate pattern. The 2 mm sockets are electrically connected to the corresponding 4 mm socket.
The main advantages of the Universal Assembly Board are its rugged mechanical construction, the highly loadable contacts and the possibility of bridging plug-in components with miniature connectors to create a space-saving experimental setup.
Placement and Protection
Besides use in demonstration setups where the Universal Assembly Board is suspended in a frame stand, it is especially suitable for student exercise and training workstations.
For protection, the rear side of the Universal Assembly Board is covered by a plastic hood. Its shape also allows a practical inclined position on the workbench.
