Type 1045.1
PHOTOVOLTAIC GENERATOR Type 1045.1
The PHOTOVOLTAIC GENERATOR Type 1045.1 is a complete training system for grid-connected PV installations. The board simulates both the PV generator and the inverter grid connection on one compact unit and enables measurements independent of weather and time of day.
- Complete training system for grid-connected PV installations
- Simulation of PV generator and inverter grid connection on one board
- Incident light energy adjustable continuously
- Measurements independent of weather and daylight conditions
- Realistic U/I behaviour of the PV modules
- Voltage measurement points at every single module
System concept and use
The training system was designed to examine grid-connected PV installations and combines generator, grid feed-in and inverter into one didactic system.
Incident light energy can be adjusted continuously, allowing typical PV measurements and operating-point studies regardless of weather and daylight conditions.
Fault simulation and inverter operation
At the PV generator, partial shading, failure of a bypass diode and insulation faults can be simulated. On the grid side, a variable grid impedance for ENS monitoring is integrated.
The Sunny Boy SWR 700 inverter is connected via RS 232 and can be examined at different operating points.
Sunny Data software
Sunny Data continuously records the operating data of the connected inverter, monitors operating states and reports faults.
Available channels include PV voltage, grid current, grid voltage, grid frequency, grid power, grid impedance, insulation resistance, total energy and error status of the Sunny Boy.
