FIBRE OPTIC RECEIVER BOARD Type 4291
Type 4291 is the receiver side of the fibre optic training system. Optical and electrical input signals can be evaluated with adjustable amplifiers, DC offsets and TTL outputs. This makes the transmission behaviour easy to analyse directly.

Receiver side and analysis
The board represents the receiving side for optical and electrical transmission paths. Different output types and adjustable levels make it easy to analyse attenuation, switching thresholds and signal shapes.
The adjustable fibre spacing can be used to simulate attenuation on plastic fibres in a controlled way.
Experiment setup
The receiver board is intended for use together with the transmitter board Type 4290, the optical bench and the laser module. This allows complete optical, infrared and wired transmission paths to be built.
The system is also suitable for measurements with standard generators and measuring instruments.
