The RADIO BOARD Type 4070 is a complete radio trainer for AM and FM exercises. The tuner, stereo decoder, loudspeakers and sine generator are already integrated. Signal paths can be traced directly at the test points.

Setup and function
The board represents the full receive chain of a simple radio system. Tuner, audio processing, stereo decoder and loudspeakers are arranged so that signals can be measured and compared at multiple points.
The clearly accessible signal points make the system suitable for an introductory study of AM and FM techniques. The optional transmitter can also be inserted into the setup.
Typical exercises
The board can be used to study tone control, AM and FM reception, oscillator frequency, AM mixer, IF stage and demodulator step by step.
Further exercises cover automatic gain control, the stereo decoder and de-emphasis behaviour.
