COAXIAL BOARD Type 4284
Type 4284 is a training board for experiments with shielded lines. The 50 m line, adjustable termination and display elements make standing waves, attenuation and reflections immediately visible.

Line experiments
The board makes it possible to study the characteristics of a shielded line and its frequency behaviour. Attenuation, input resistance, standing waves and the shortening factor can all be observed directly on the setup.
The built-in line section is also suitable for fault location and impulse behaviour experiments.
Lab operation
The module is intended for use with an oscilloscope and function generator. Its cascading design makes it possible to examine longer line sections and different termination conditions.
The built-in LEDs help to observe standing waves and reflected signals.
