Type 2340
INSTALLATION TEST BOARD Type 2340
The INSTALLATION TEST BOARD is a practice-oriented measurement system for protective and installation engineering according to VDE 0100. It enables measurements with standard VDE test equipment and safely simulates typical faults and mains situations.
- Practice-oriented measuring with commercially available VDE test equipment
- For checking safety measures according to VDE 0100
- For measurements in 1- and 3-phase mains
- Simulation of insulation and loop resistance
- Simulation of frequently occurring faults in protective and installation engineering
- Ideally suitable for testing purposes
Field of application
The INSTALLATION TEST BOARD is used for measurements in electrical protective and installation engineering. The front panel provides two Schuko sockets for measuring conductor loss, loop impedance, insulation resistance and the tripping characteristic of an RCD.
Front panel and safety concept
An additional three-phase connection (CEE socket) enables the measurement of the phase sequence. A lockable protective cover prevents unauthorized access to the socket field; this makes the INSTALLATION TEST BOARD very suitable for examination use.
By connecting the sockets, individual as well as combined faults can be simulated and loop and insulation resistance can be measured.
